Welcome to Tix-4-Kids.org
Tix-4-Kids.org brings the excitement and fun of going to college and professional sporting events to children who otherwise might not be able to have such an experience. Families today face numerous challenges including financial and health burdens. There are thousands of incredible charities that work with deserving families and children but these organizations are not able to allocate their resources to sports tickets.
We believe that nothing can brighten a day or be the highlight in someone’s week like a live sporting event. That’s why we help as many kids as possible experience a live sporting event or concert.
Tix-4-Kids.org is a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Houston Texas. Tix-4-Kids.org works directly with charities, schools, and volunteers to get tickets into the hands of deserving kids.
What We Do
While getting tickets and finding worthwhile charities to donate them to is the focus of our organizations, we also believe in the value of the entire experience. Therefore we do accept monetary donations to help cover the costs of transportation and a treat such as a hot dog or souvenir at the game. With all donations we strongly encourage individuals to name a specific organization or group that they would like to see go to an event.
For Example: You may volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House and believe strongly in the great work it does for families. You can approach us and say I would like to donate $200 to help cover the cost of some families to enjoy a game. We then contact the charity and find a suitable game, we secure the tickets, and then use your donation to cover any transportation and food costs.
Unfortunately because of the by-laws and rules of these charities most cannot accept earmarked donations for non-essential items. However these charities definitely understand the importance of providing kids with these extra perks and gladly accept the tickets and vouchers for food, etc.
